Who am I?
I am a hard-working, driven, and curious 23 year old software developer. I enjoy learning new things, especially when it comes to knowledge I can share with others. I pride myself on my communication skills and I love to help others; I think that my ability to break complicated topics down to different levels of understanding can be really useful for this when it comes to my work.
My Education
I received my Honours Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Computer Science from McMaster in 2023.
My Experience
I have experience in both front- and back-end development. I currently work for Dr. Sharonna Greenberg on "ChemFAST", a formative practice question website for chemistry students at McMaster. For this project I tested, installed, and customized a backend software system called the "Concerto Platform". I wrote code in Python to interface with the API of Concerto in order to automate our question upload process. I also wrote code in R to serve practice questions to the users and allow them to log in with their school-associated Microsoft account. I also collaborated with a colleague on the ChemFAST team to implement her user-interface for the landing page of the site with Bootstrap.
